The scouts of Troop 225 are part of something much greater than just our local troop. We are part of the international brotherhood of Scouting, a movement founded at Brownsea Island, England by Lord Robert Baden-Powell in 1907. Scouting came to the United States in 1910.
Below are several simple organization charts that demonstrate our troop's position in the scouting world. The links will assist you in better understanding and appreciating the breadth and diversity of the Scouting program.
